I was just watching a video of J.K. Rowling speaking at a Harvard graduation about failing and there's one particular quote I love in it.

Of course you're probably thinking what is she on about she's a freaking billionaire but this was about her pre harry potter period and she described that period with, "an exceptionally short marriage has imploded and I was jobless a lone parent and as poor as it is possible to be in modern Britain without being homeless."
